The Use of a Bud Freezing Technique to Determine the Hardiness of 20 Grape Genotypes

Table 1: Effect of freezing temperature exposure under laboratory condition on the primary bud mortality of 20 grapevine cultivars collected two times in fall 2000 (Frelighsburg, Quebec, Canada)

The values in the table are average number of 5 buds for 3 replicates (0= no bud damage, 5= 100% mortality), data were arcsin-transformed prior to anova, but are shown as non transformed data here; u Odneal (1983); v Reisch et al. (1979); w Bordelon et al. (1997); x Dubois et Deshaies (1997); y Vignes du Québec; z Plocher and Parke (2001). V Vinifera, B Berlandieri, Ru Rupestris C Cinerea, L Labrusca, R Riparia, A Aestivalis, Am Amurensis.
