Origine: William Uecker, Peshastin (Washington). Introduite en 1934. Mutation
de bourgeon de la Jonathan. Fruit: gros à moyen, arrondi-conique à arrondi-ové;
calice: petit, fermé; peau: épaisse, uniformément lavée de rouge; chair: blanche,
teintée de jaune, juteuse, ferme, croquante, tendre; saveur: aromatique;
maturation: très tardive, trop tardive pour les secteurs les plus nordiques;
entreposage: bonne conservation. Pommier: un peu rustique, essentiellement
identique au pommier Jonathan; floraison: mi-saison. Autres caractéristiques:
peau se colorant plus tôt que chez la Jonathan.

mutation of Jonathan. Fruit: medium to large, round-conic to round ovate;
calyx: small, closed; skin: thick, solid red flush; flesh: white tinged with
yellow, juicy, firm, crisp, tender; flavor: aromatic; ripens very late, too late
for northern-most regions; storage: keeps well. Tree: somewhat hardy, is
basically the same as Jonathan; bloom: mid-season. Other: skin colors
earlier than parent.
